In 1886, "The Grand Ol' Lady of The Ozarks" opened her doors to America’s travelers. After more than 125 years, the Crescent Hotel has stayed true to keeping the traditions of Historic Hotels alive. One such tradition is being the place where travelers can find a quality steakhouse. Such is the case at Arkansas’ historic mountaintop spa resort, the Crescent Hotel.
Open Monday - Friday evenings with an occasional Saturday, the 1886 Steakhouse offers great cuts of quality beef in the hands of award-winning chefs utilizing the finest equipment money can buy and are conjoined to create well-prepared steak dinners in a traditional steakhouse atmosphere that heretofore one could only find in Chicago, Kansas City or San Francisco. The signature dessert, the Apple Croustade is the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
The Steakhouse is affordable, with the finest 10oz filet at $35, lobster macaroni at $22 and a cedar plank salmon at just $20. Diners desiring lighter fare can enjoy a half-plate at the bar, typically $25 or those coming to the hotel for the big celebration can enjoy the famous celebration menu for $125 per couple.
At the 1886 Steakhouse, its full menu of culinary delights is optimally enhanced by an award-winning collection of wines. The restaurant’s wine experts have perfectly paired the selections in their cellar with the exquisite food served. And for those who would like to enjoy a higher-priced wine without purchasing a full bottle, the restaurant’s cuvee can supply such vineyard incomparables by the glass. Gather your friends and come enjoy a half-plate at the bar, enjoy a great steak with the one you love or maybe today a celebration is in order!
Tonight, make it the 1886 Steakhouse for steaks, seafood, chops, and more surrounded by appetizers, soups, salads, and accompaniments plus one-of-a-kind desserts. The 1886 Steakhouse... in the tradition of America's Finest Historic Hotels.
